Are you currently facing a challenge or crisis in your life?

Maybe you’re struggling to come to terms with a significant loss or change?

Or, perhaps you just want to feel more in control and free from whatever is weighing you down?

Take Charge of Your Mental Health & Well-being With Counselling

As a person who’s committed to maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle, you want to go through your days feeling in control and in charge of your health and well-being.

And yet, life can change in an instant…

A sudden stressful event, a worrying health diagnosis, a relationship breakdown or just the overwhelming stress of daily life can leave you feeling out of control, overthinking your options and unsure of your next steps. Sound familiar?

You see, when you try to do it on your own, dealing with stress, anxiety and overwhelm can feel daunting.

It can seem impossible to find a way through when you don’t know where to start or who to talk to. But, it doesn’t have to be this way.

Counselling is a form of therapy that offers a safe, confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your concerns and challenges.

You’ll be supported to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour so you can have a better understanding of yourself and get the support you need to achieve positive, lasting change in your life.

What’s more, you’ll learn skills to help you cope with what you’re facing so you can see your way forward with greater clarity and ease.

When you choose to make your mental health and well-being a priority alongside your commitment to leading a fit and fulfilling life, the path ahead becomes clearer.

You’ll no longer feel stuck, scared or confused. Your actions align with your aspirations. And, you’ll feel confident and supported knowing that you have professional help guiding you every step of the way.

So, if you’re not feeling at peace with a situation, if you’re experiencing stress, anxiety or overwhelm, or you just sense that having someone to talk to could help to bring about positive change in your life, then now is the right time to get counselling.

What issues can you bring to Counselling?

Counselling is a ‘talking therapy’ that can help you to work through challenges, develop coping skills and improve your overall mental health and well-being. What you choose to talk about will depend on what you want help with. Some examples of issues regularly brought to counselling include:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Work-related stress
  • Health crisis
  • Loss of life direction
  • Recovery after illness
  • Relationship difficulties

What to expect from Counselling

Counselling is a collaboration between counsellor and client where you’re respected as the ‘expert on yourself’. You’ll be invited to talk about your issue so you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

You’ll then be helped to discover what strengths, solutions and support are available to you so you can work through your own issues and build self-confidence. This may look like taking new actions in your life or adopting new ways of coping with your issue.

You can be assured that you’ll not be judged regardless of the issue you bring to therapy. You can expect to be accepted and valued for the person you are and to experience being truly heard and seen.

It’s important to note that counselling may provide you with helpful guidance, resources or information, but it doesn’t provide direct advice, opinions or prescribe medication. You’ll not be told what to think or what to do.

Counselling takes place over a series of regular, planned sessions lasting 50-minutes each.

Investing in your mental health today is an investment towards having a happier, healthier future and better quality of life.

Your Next Steps:

Choose between the following options based on whether you’re ready to start counselling now or want more information:

OPTION ONE: FREE Counselling Consultation

If you want to learn a bit more about what counselling entails, you can book a time to meet with Anna-Claire at Castle Country Club for a 15-min in-person consultation. During the consultation, she can provide guidance on what to expect, the booking process and answer any questions that you may have.
